CÉDULE 40
CÉDULE 40 is an artists' collective from Saguenay made up of Julien Boily, Sonia Boudreau, Étienne Boulanger and Noémie Payant-Hébert. Since 2005, this collective has been engaged in a multidisciplinary project joining installation, architecture, sculpture and mechanical devices. Aware of the visual quality and technical ingenuity of tools, whether industrial, agricultural or even forestry-related, the artists design pieces that are equally playful and poetic. At ORANGE, CÉDULE 40 creates a participative work on the impoverishment of the earth brought about by agricultural overproduction. Viewers are invited to sow and then destroy the fruit of this sowing, thereby regenerating the harvest.
